Sunset

Unbelievable how I keep finding unprocessed images spread around my harddisk. Anyway, a few months ago we went out to restaurant Paseo in Loppem, Belgium to celebrate a birthday. While we were having dinner we got to see this amazing sunset. The 18mm wide angle does tend to make it look a bit more dramatic, but I kind of like it that way. It would have been better if the tree to the left hadn't been there, but I guess there's always something to complain about :P

Tip of the day: take your camera with you wherever you can. It's not always easy and in the case of an SLR it tends to be quite a bulky piece of equipment to be lugging around. But, there's going to be times you'd really wish you had your camera with you. You can obviously save weight by leaving all but one lens at home. If I could, I'd take my SLR to my own wedding ceremony next year. Unfortunately, Joke made it quite clear that that's not going to fly and honestly, knowing Joke, I don't think I'll be able to convince her otherwise *chuckle*.
