First things first: the composition for this shot was not my idea. Fair's fair, credit where credit is due and all that. I came across this picture by Grand Admiral in the Revoltech pool on Flickr. I remembered he had some very nice images of Megatron and Prime on there and I wanted to try and recreate something similar.
Since we had a technical assignment for photography about aperture and depth of field due Monday, I decided to use this composition and narrow the DOF down to an absolute minimum (aperture f/5.6 with this specific lens at 130mm), medium DOF (aperture f/13) and the maximum DOF my lens could handle at that focal length and focus distance (f/32).
Out of the three this is the image I like best. Well, kind of, since I tend to move between this and the f/13 shot as to which one I prefer. What I do like about this specific version is that the focus is on the bare minimum and essential area of the photo: Prime's gun and Megatron's hand.
So thanks again to Grand Admiral for *cough* inspiring me for this photo :)

I do really like the narrow dof on this. Focus point is well placed as well.
