I'm extremely happy with how the shoot with Joke's dad (or should I say 'father in law' now that I'm a married man) turned out. The leather outfit really screams for a dark and gritty treatment so I tried to keep it grungy and high contrast with this photo. The badge is from the Harley club he's a member of.

Tip of the day: it's been a while since I had a tip of the day on here. Time to pick up the pace again. When taking portrait pictures take the time to snap some closeup and detail shots. It's not always what people expect to see when you hand them the photos afterwards, but believe me when I say that these shots are very much appreciated and they always help to tell the story. Of course don't go overboard and forget to take actual portrait shots.
