Harley

Talk about procrastination and doubt. The number of times I nearly uploaded this image and cancelled at the last minute is crazy. At first I wanted to throw the image away. It's hard not to think 'newbie' when looking at the metadata for this shot (ISO 640, 1/800, f/5). I honestly have no clue what my brain was doing at the time this photo was shot, but it sure wasn't focussed on the task at hand. Each time I look at these numbers I'm baffled to say the least.

Still, there it was in Lightroom and I was relatively happy, considering the circumstances, with how the post processing had turned out. I think I initially queued it for 'upload' a few months back and it's been a yes/no game ever since. Yeah, let's upload to pixy... Naah, it sucks... Hmmm, not that bad... Pfff, looks like crap... In the end I just let it sit there. Put the whole thing on hold so to speak.

Now that I posted it here, some people might get a giggle out of the camera settings (believe me, I do). But I realize that no matter what I think about the technical aspect of the image, it turned out to be a fun image of Joke's dad on his Harley Davidson. And I guess that's what's really important.

And... I learned I need to better keep my focus throughout a shoot.
